We want you to love every piece you order from Girl in the Fog Apparel Shop. If something’s not quite right, we’re here to help. Please read our return and refund policy below.

Returns

We accept returns on eligible items within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition

  • Tags must be attached (if applicable)

  • Must be returned in original or similar protective packaging

Final sale items, custom orders, and gift cards are non-refundable.

Exchanges

Want a different size or color? Reach out to us—we’re happy to process an exchange if the item is in stock.

To initiate a return or exchange, email us at [your email address] with:

  • Your order number

  • The item(s) you’d like to return or exchange

  • Reason for return (optional but helpful!)

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you by email and issue a refund to your original payment method.
Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, damaged product, etc.).

Late or Missing Refunds?

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  1. Double-check your bank account

  2. Contact your credit card company (it may take time before your refund is officially posted)

  3. Still stuck? Email us—we’ll look into it

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we’re not responsible for returns lost in transit.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We inspect everything carefully, but if something slipped through, please email us within 7 days of delivery with a photo and order number—we’ll make it right.
