Love seems to be something I think of often. Being in love, loving someone, what love really is? Is love passion? Dedication? Friendship? or something more?
I say it to my partner every day. I always mean it, but the meaning behind it changes. Sometimes I say it out of habit. Sometimes I say it because he says something funny, or does something nice. Other times I say it when he’s having a hard time, or he’s celebrating an accomplishment. Sometimes it said with deep meaning where I know he feels it too.
Often with us it’s just said by a smile or a look. A laugh or just something silly. Even just when he grabs my hand before we go to sleep.
I love this article about Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward’s Lifetime of Love. They definitely had it right.
Happy friday! I love this poem by Rumi. It remind me that love has no limits. Being in love with someone is a journey both for that person, but also yourself.

I have a fairly simple style. White t-shirts, jeans, sweaters, boots with some simple accessories is my go-to look. What girl doesn’t like a pretty little thing to put together an outfit?
I typically wear this necklace my boyfriend gave me. He surprised me at the airport right before I left on a two week trip to Thailand last year and I’ve worn it ever since. That’s why I like simple jewelry, it holds memories of where you got it, or who gave it to you that you get to remember each time you wear it.

I admit, I’m a huge romantic. Flowers send my heart a flutter and weddings always make me cry. When I saw the photos of these San Francisco City Hall Weddings on SF Gate Blog I teared up. The couples look so happy (and wow, what awesome dresses), but the architecture is amazing at San Francisco City Hall.
